22 October:

Music by William Walton, aged 16, a premiere by our pianist/composer, Andrew Leathwick, aged 24, and the passionate, anguished love song by the young Brahms, extensively revised 20 years later with all of its emotional power intact, played by a group from opposite sides of the globe at contrasting career stages – just the sort of chemistry W&F likes to cook up!
